We are happy in that we are not over-happy.

A preview of some experimental film strips I produced a while back when I had access to a dark room. The beautiful Beth and Amber
- Again, apologies for my world-class scanner. And the fluff on Amber's face. I obviously take heaps of care of my negatives..

Film long exposures of the New Zealand Sky. You can thank Big W for the priceless quality.. And my scanner. But mostly Big W.

Hey, guess what?
I caught something!
Not anything nice though.
Something coughy, snotty and wheezy.
Middle of the holidays too. Ohh, I'm not happy.

Still cold days and more to come. Nothing too fancy to show for my first unofficial weekend of holidays.

If you look at this one long enough he begins to look 'special'.. to say the least.

The dirt in my pockets. Or Pocket dirt.
This may be a solution to doing something creative when there is little time.

I was scanning through some untouched photos that have been taken and forgotten on my camera. Cropped a few of them mindlessly.
This one made me 'awh'

A while ago my boyfriend gave me a shoebox containing thousands of old photo-slides dating back to '65 which he had found out the front of a deceased estate. I've just re-discovered them and with my new, but conveniently not-so-great scanner I have just scanned a few in.
They seem to turn out very blue and blurry, I simply assume it's because my scanner only cost $40 but it may also be because there is some special setting I have not yet discovered. I will ask someone that knows about scanners tomorrow. But for now, here's a (very blue, but still interesting) preview.
I pulled them out of their cardboard packing accept for one.

Analogue

I just picked up 3 rolls (which Sophia so kindly dropped in for me, thankyou!) from the developing shop. There are plenty which I am very happy with. But the scans are terrible. Excuse the crooked crops, the finger prints and and dust from the glass. Not to mention the masses of noise. 50 points for whoever can tell which are disposable and which are slr film. (count noise)
One of these are from when I still had hair!
