a kitchen experience. my roommate and i have discovered the incredible difference that a few plants in the kitchen make the the general atmosphere.

a mirrored melbourne city. as part of a uni assignment i created a copy of van she's 'so high' film clim, just instead of a tokyo high speed train i was on a general melbourne to brighton slow train. here's the original- and here's my melbourne version-

managed to get out of home and take a train trip to the beach today. i've been really slack with uni recently and i think i've made up for it with the footage i've accomplished today. maybe. hopefully.. in further news i recieved a package from poland containing a 1930's original dress and plenty of pack soups. why are packet soups so much better tasting there?

strolled to the queen victoria markets today for my sunday groceries.
usually i manage to spend under 40$ and purchase bags full of vegetables and fruit which last me for 2 weeks.. today i had something slightly different in mind.

Not really, but I'm an adult and i make my own choices now!
Ahaha, I'm feeling ill this morning with a clogged up throat so I though this would cheer me up. And it did!

I made myself a matcha latte today, they make them in some coffee shops and sometimes if i'm lucky i swing by and grab myself one.
But you know, they're so easy to make!
Some matcha powder (or green tea powder) as much sugar as desired and hot milk!
For anyone who enjoys green tea ice cream this is the perfect alternative for a cold winter warm up!

day 4 trying out vegan-ism. (i want cheese).

what was supposed to be a week in perth eventuated into almost 2 weeks due to the chilean ash cloud (how the hell did it effect flights between melbourne and perth is beyond me).
we had an incredibly pleasant time staying on couches, backpackers and hotels. this is a shot of mari in the hotel room from the trip.
in other news, i'm taking myself on a bit of an adventure and becoming a vegan. what. i know..
